In the game of poker, the objective is to obtain the best five-card hand and win the pot. During a hand, the players will reveal their hidden cards and evaluate their hands. The player who has the best hand wins the pot. Hands are ranked according to the highest five-card combination. Common hand combinations are straight flush, full house, four of a kind, and more. If there is no winner, the pot will be shared among the remaining players.

In the game of poker, players place their chips in front of their cards, usually the top five. A player’s hand will be worth the highest value card. The game can have as many as seven players. When more than seven players are involved, a supply of poker chips must be provided. Each chip has a different value. The lowest value chip is a white, while a red chip is worth five whites. The highest-ranking poker hand wins the pot.

The pot is a common way to win. Every player places his/her chips and money into it. A player’s bets in a game of poker are gathered into one central pot at the end of the round. The pot is the pool of all winnings. Usually, the player who is left with the highest hand wins the pot. The main pot and side pots are won by different players. When this happens, the game ends with the winner taking the entire pot as the prize.
